The Instituto Nacional de Fomento da Sociedade da Informação - INFOSI is a public legal entity with legal personality, administrative, financial and asset autonomy, responsible for promoting the information society, technological modernisation and digital transformation support in Angola, under Presidential Decree No. 135/21 of 31 May.
Under the aforementioned decree, INFOSI is responsible for promoting, coordinating and implementing public policies related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), as well as ensuring mechanisms for evaluation, registration and technical certification of technological solutions and entities.
The registration and certification processes promoted by INFOSI are fundamental instruments for ensuring technical compliance, transparency and trust in the provision of technological services to Public Administration, encouraging responsible investment and strengthening the national digital ecosystem.
